Senior Design Engineer - Geotechnical

Qualifications: MSc (Soil Mechanics and Engineering Seismology).

​Engineering Superpowers: Maximising outcomes for clients, communication and being an ideas machine!

Engineering specialties: Design of Temporary works, retaining walls, excavation, ground anchors, piles, micro piles, and foundations along with geotechnical investigations and analyses.

Favourite engineering tool: CLIQ (Developed with support and guidance from Professor Peter Robinson), used for in-situ testing of soils, earthquake design of geotechnical structures, soil liquefaction, pile design and soil structure interactions.

​Favourite Soil Type: Weathered ECBF (the most common soil in Auckland and the first one taught.

​​Least favourite part of engineering: Reading badly written reports!

​Outside Interests: BBQ and Badminton.
