Turris™ wins product innovation award!

This week the TGE designed Turris™ foundation won a Civil Contractors NZ Innovation in Product Design award. To say our team is stoked is an understatement, just look at their faces when the award was announced last Saturday night at the Hynds CCNZ Auckland awards night!

The Turris™ foundation was a core element of the entry by our colleagues at Earth Stability Limited for an exciting project we have been working on together for the Rural Connectivity Group, installing foundations for cell towers at the remote edges of the mobile network in New Zealand. Turris™

This project exemplifies several values we hold at TGE, Working Together with Earth Stability and the Rural Connectivity Group, we considered the client pain points and designed, prototyped, and tested an innovative product which comprised a precast foundation, remote delivery and installation method that reduced the concrete and other materials and equipment required to be transported to very remote sites.  Digging Deeper (another of our values) encapsulated our problem-solving approach on this project, we looked beyond the usual to find an innovative solution that Adds Value to the client’s goals.
